SENIOR ART DIRECTOR
For this brief I worked on creating illustrated visuals that celebrate the company’s Japanese history and how the drug’s clinical trials were based on the famous artist, Hokusai. We commissioned an illustrator to work on modern visuals that paid homage to Hokusai and the Japanese heritage of the company. Each image tells a different story about the founders of the company and their famous drug discoveries. We then animated the illustrations to tell the story online, at a congress and other company channels.
What was originally a very small brief and low-budget brief to create a basic narrative - we managed to convince the client of the great potential of the creative and secured more funding to produce nicely crafted work as opposed to a boring corporate video. The clients were ecstatic with the outcome and got great praise from the senior management and stakeholders.
